International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking

Department of Hindi of GDC Mahanpur celebrated International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking is also called World Drugs Day .This year 2024, the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking theme is “The evidence is clear: invest in prevention.” The campaign emphasizes the importance of basing drug policies on scientific research, full respect for human rights, compassion, and a profound understanding of the social, economic, and health impacts of drug use. The programme was organized by Dr. Sapna Devi , HOD Hindi under the supervision of Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the College.15 students participated in the Rangoli making competition on World Drugs Day .The faculty members who participated in the programme were Dr. Mohindar Nath Sharma, Dr. Sudesh, Ms. Nisha.
